Welcome to Midway Kodenkan Martial Arts Academy where we pride ourselves in providing you with one of the best martial arts instruction in the Chicago land area. We have fully qualified instructors covering most self defense styles being taught out there today. These are some of the arts we practice.
Jujitsu – grappling, joint locking, constriction and throwing techniques.
Kali/Silat- stick fighting, knife offence and defense, short sword and empty hand techniques.
Lua/karate – Traditional Hawaiian weaponry, Hawaiian Hulas (Forms) and empty hand techniques. The Lua curriculum also offers a well organized Program for Children that encourages traditional values like respect, humility, courage and through various training methods helps them develop discipline, self esteem and assertiveness. |
